Our Story & Mission

At NÜWA, we believe healing doesn’t begin in a prescription pad.

It begins in quiet kitchens, whispered recipes, postpartum rituals passed down through generations of women.

We were born out of a longing: to bring those practices back.

To decentralise healing, and make care something you don’t need permission to access.

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and midwifery wisdom, NÜWA blends the ancient and the evidence-based:

Offering botanical infusions, ancestral teachings, and emotional support for women at every season of life.

Our mission is simple but radical:
To make care sacred again.
To make healing sovereign again.
To remember what they’ve made us forget.

Our Founder

NÜWA was founded by Jasmine Towers: A mother, herb enthusiast, medical researcher, and writer with a background in psychology and a deep reverence for the intelligence of nature.

After experiencing two very different postpartum recoveries: the first medicalised and isolating, the second slow, sacred, and supported by ancestral care, she saw the gap.

Why are so many women left alone after birth?
Why is folk wisdom dismissed, while pharmaceutical dependency is normalised?
Why does healing often feel so out of reach?

NÜWA, which began as a personal reclamation, and has turned into a platform for collective remembering and healing.

Our Philosophy

We don’t just sell tea or herbal infusions. We teach.

NÜWA is a learning space for the public to reclaim their care through plants, ritual, and ancestral science.

We believe education is care, and that healing should be passed down, not prescribed.

Through our blends, writings, and community, we offer slow, sovereign support for the body, the heart, and the cycle.

We’re not here to compete with medicine. We’re here to remind you what medicine used to mean.
